Both the Lava Virat V1 5G and Lava Virat V1 sold out shortly after the sale started at 12 PM IST on July 31. According to Lava, this marks the fastest sellout for the Virat Series on its launch day.
The company stated that the strong demand highlights the increasing preference for purchasing smartphones online. Lava also noted that customers are increasingly choosing devices that offer reliable performance, a clean Android experience, and competitive pricing. The early sellout reflects the growing popularity of these features among Indian smartphone buyers.

The Lava Virat V1 5G features a 6.75-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate for smoother visuals. The UNISOC T8200 processor powers it and packs a 6000mAh battery for extended usage. The device offers 64GB of onboard storage, which can be expanded up to 1TB using a microSD card.
The smartphone runs on Clean Android 16, providing a bloatware-free and ad-free user experience. It also comes with an IP64 rating, offering protection against dust and water splashes.

The standard Lava Virat V1 also sports a 6.75-inch HD+ display and is backed by a 5000mAh battery. Lava has confirmed that it is coordinating with Flipkart to replenish inventory at the earliest. Customers who were unable to purchase either model during the initial sale will have another opportunity once fresh stock becomes available.
